An acrylic painting that developed without thought. A feeling of serenity and softness and just enough hue to keep it that way. On October 28, 2006, it took the “Award of Excellence” at the Village Art League.
Sandy Fleishman is a watercolorist and mutimedia artist who has been painting since 1989. She was self taught until the 1990s when she started workshops with various artists.
Unencumbered in the use of subject matter and technique, Sandy incorporates various styles in Impressionism, Realism and Abstract design. Many of her paintings feature different local scenes as well as Key West, St. Martin, and other travels abroad. She captures the essence of nature with her unique use of vivid and dynamic color combinations, expressing a broad range of emotions. Many renderings are from Sandy's imagination.
She has exhibited in libraries, galleries, various juried art shows and The Nassau County Museum of Art. Works in private collections include New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Colorado, Florida and Rousset, France.
